Meet Mara.

Hi, I’m Mara.

I’ve always loved making life easier for other people. Bringing order to the details, finding the right person for a project, or taking something off someone’s plate brings me real satisfaction. HANDLED grew out of that love.

My professional experience spans more than 20 years in executive partnership and global real estate project management. I’ve supported senior leaders, managed complex projects, and coordinated people, spaces, budgets, and competing priorities. Through it all, my favorite part has been building relationships and helping people feel confident that someone is looking out for them.

I grew up in Rockford and graduated from Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After a couple of chapters in Chicago, life keeps bringing me back to West Michigan. My family and community mean so much to me, and I love feeling connected to the place I call home.

My health is my number one priority because it supports everything and everyone I value. Movement, nutrition, mental health, and rest all matter to me. Caring for those things helps me show up for the people I love and enjoy the life I’m working to build. That perspective also shapes HANDLED: simplifying the demands of everyday life can make room for what matters to you.

Outside of work, you’ll find me at the gym, hiking, biking, or walking my 20-pound rescue dog, George Clooney, and saying hello to our two- and four-legged neighbors. I’m an animal lover, I brake for turtles, and I believe there’s almost always room for a good laugh.
